Obituary: Lucille McNutt-Warzenski

Lucille McNutt-Warzenski, age 99, of Gurnee, Ill., died Sunday, May 15, 2016, in Libertyville, Ill. She was born Dec. 26, 1916, in Jennings to Vladimir and Katherine (Linhart) Svic. Lucille attended school in Jennings and then traveled to Chicago for employment. She married Richard McNutt in Crandon. They moved to Milwaukee and then to Lake Bluff, Ill., where Richard operated a service station. Following Richard’s death, Lucille married Raymond Warzenski and he also preceded her in death. Lucille enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing cards, and cooking and baking for her family. Lucille is survived by her two children, Richard (JoAnn) McNutt of Post Lake and Sharon (Virgil) Anderson of Vernon Hills, Ill.; three grandchildren, Lisa (Rich) Breen, Pam (Dennis) Stefanowski and Jill (Rich) Lucas; and six great-grandchildren, Mary Kate, Justin (Tiffany), Cameron, Matthew, Jessica and Dana. In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Nettie, Anna and Vera, and three brothers, Leo, Tony and Kem. A funeral service for Lucille will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander. Visitation with the family will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service in Crandon Lakeside Cemetery, Crandon. (Carlson Funeral Home)
