Learn how to treat and prevent plant disease

A free public program on how to prevent and treat plant diseases of Northern Wisconsin will be offered at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29 at the UW- Extension Oneida County conference room.
The featured speaker will be Brian Hudelson, Director of Diagnostic Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison/Extension Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic.
Hudelson will talk about plant disease trends specific to this area and throughout Wisconsin, and how to prevent and treat these diseases. A question and answer session will follow this program, so bring in samples of plants that need to be identified and treated.
Hudelson appears regularly on Larry Meiller’s Garden Talk on Wisconsin Public Radio and The Wisconsin Gardener show on Wisconsin Public Television. He also provides numerous lectures and workshops throughout Wisconsin on plant pathology-related topics and regularly contributes information on samples submitted to the Wisconsin Horticulture Update, Wisconsin Urban Forestry Insider, Wisconsin Crop Manager, and Wisconsin Ornamentals Newsletter
