Adam Schleicher, age 30, died April 6, 2016 following a battle with cancer. Adam Schleicher obit picleft us very peacefully and without pain. He was born March 16, 1986 in Woodstock, Ill., to Wayne and Laura (Leman) Schleicher. Adam fought strong and hard to the end. He loved the outdoors and sharing it with everyone, especially his son Treiden. Adam loved hunting, fishing, camping, and campfires. He would be doing one or the other as long as it was outside. Adam was ready to join his dad, Wayne who was his fishing and hunting buddy, for all those amazing trips they had always talked about.

He will be dearly missed by his son, Treiden Schleicher; mother, Laura Schleicher; sister, Heidi (Eric Alsteens) Schleicher; brother, Jon Schleicher; best friends Megan Birginal and Ryan Singer; special caretakers, Easton and Avaeda, all of Rhinelander and by many other amazing friends. He is further survived by a niece and nephew, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Schleicher and by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of Adam’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, two separate funds have been established at Park City Credit Union, one of the funds is to assist with funeral expenses and the other is for an education fund for Treiden. Memorial contributions may be sent directly to Park City Credit Union, 151 S. Courtney Street, Rhinelander, Wisc., 54501. Please indicate which fund you would like your memorial to go to. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E. Davenport Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin 54501, 715-365-4343. Celebrating lives and healing hearts. All are invited to watch the video tribute, light a candle, sign the guestbook, leave a photo or an online condolence at www.hildebrandrussfh.com
