Daniel J. Boxrucker, age 83, of Rhinelander, died April 6, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. He was born in September 6, 1932 in Athens to Casper and Louise (Piesik) Boxrucker. Daniel served twenty years in the U.S.  Army. Daniel is survived by his daughter Robin (Gerald) Boynton and his son Jay (Lori) Boxrucker both of Rhinelander; two  grandchildren and one  great grandchild; his sisters Sally Perrodin and Dorothy Roseler;  his brother Dempsey Boxrucker; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Daniel is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, his parents, brothers Robert and Arthur and sister Louise. Memorial services for Daniel will be Saturday, April 9 at 12 noon, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, all at the Carlson Funeral Home. The Reverend Mike Botsford will officiate. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. (Carlson Funeral Home)
