It may come as no surprise that the Oneida County  state-funded snowmobile trail system has closed for the season. A press release from the county Forestry, Land and Recreation department Tuesday evening indicated trails would close as of 8 a.m. today (3/9/16).

“The Oneida County Forestry Department would like to thank all the snowmobile clubs and volunteers for their work in keeping our trails in great shape,” said Eric Rady, county Recreation Coordinator.
