Northwoods Wildlife Center’s Photo Gala Saturday at Campanile Center
The annual Northwoods Wildlife Center Photo Gala will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 6-8 p.m., at the Campanile Center for the Arts in downtown Minocqua.
More than 160 photos in six categories will be on display and those attending choose the winners by casting their vote for their favorite photo in each category. A panel of judges will select one of the top 4 in the North American Wildlife category to be the Northwoods Wildlife Center Artist of the Year.
In addition to seeing some great photography there will be raffle prizes, programs with resident education animals, music, appetizers, and beverages. This year, Dennis Kohl, of Trig’s Cellar 70, will be providing tasting tips and information for a special selection of wines and craft beers offered by the glass including Clean Slate Riesling, Kris Pinot Grigio, Los Dos Red from Spain, Yankee Buzzard IPA, Chocolate Lab Porter and more.
This event is free and all are welcome. Voting begins at 6 p.m. with programs throughout the evening. By attending the gala you will support The Northwoods Wildlife Center which provides rehabilitation to hundreds of wildlife animals and delivers educational programing to thousands each year

Regular winter hours for the center are 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is available for animal emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
