3rd Annual Cross Country Ski Clinic at CAVOC

IMG_5133 (1)Learn to cross country ski with the whole family during this Community Education class. In the third annual ski clinic scheduled for Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, participants will learn the basics of cross country skiing. Anyone wanting to learn, who doesn’t have skis should visit Mel’s Trading Post before the day of the course to get pre-fitted. There is no charge for use of equipment. Participants may bring their own equipment.

All ages are welcome to participate and parents and children are encouraged to participate together. The instructor is Shane Tulowitzky. The fee is $10/person. The clinic will take place at the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom (CAVOC). The registration Deadline is February 24 and the course number is 2016-15.

Pre-registration is required.  To register, please visit the ‘Community’ section of the School District of Rhinelander website:  http://www.rhinelander.k12.wi.us/community/communityeducation.cfm.  Online registration is available with a credit or debit card.  Simply follow the instructions on the website.  Paper registration is available by mail or drop off.  If you have questions, please contact Community Education Coordinator Mike Cheslock at 715-365-9745.

The ski clinic is sponsored by Mel’s Trading Post, downtown Rhinelander.
