Curtis “Curt” E. Thomas, age 94, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at Rennes Health & Rehab in Rhinelander. He was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Tomahawk to James and Eleanore (Williams) Thomas. He is survived by his children, Cherri (Ron) Dahlvig and Curtis H. (Carol) Thomas, both of Rhinelander, and Tammy (Scott) Hansen of Rothschild; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two special nieces; and a special friend, Norm Bauer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; an infant daughter, Melody Rae Thomas; a grandson, Kory Dahlvig; a sister; and two brothers. Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 12, from 4 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service at First United Methodist Church, 724 Arbutus Street. Rev. Ellen Rasmussen will officiate.
