OBITUARY: RICHARD E. “DICK” SUTTON

Richard E. “Dick” Sutton, age 77, of Rhinelander, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Riverview Nursing Home in Tomahawk. He was born Nov. 6, 1938, in DeKalb, Ill., to Eugene and Evelyn (Gittleson) Sutton. He served in the Navy from 1955 until 1959 and he was a member of the Ray Rousseau V.F.W. Post #3143, Rhinelander. He is survived by his wife, Lynne; two children, Michelle Lawrence of Genoa, Ill., and Nathan (Evi) of AuTrain, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Phyllis (Pink) Wilder of Russellville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; special friend Mr. Cy “Punk” Kubesh; and his pals, Krishna and Pita. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Sutton. Vistation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Rick Kelm, Chaplain from Aseracare, will officiate. Military honors will immediately follow at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Mr. Sutton may be given to the family. He loved the Tennessee Volunteers; in his honor, please wear clothing with the college’s colors of orange and white. (Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home)
