RHS FBLA/DECA club collected over 400 pairs of jeans during their recent 'Jeans for Teens' drive.

Submitted by Faith Bartelt
RHS FBLA/DECA club member

This year’s Jeans for Teen’s drive, sponsored by the RHS FBLA/DECA organization, was a huge success! The drive took place December 16 to January 6, and had drop off sites at Rhinelander’s Coffee Beans, Public Library and On-the-Go Laundry.

Community support surpassed the club’s goal of collecting 300 jeans, with a total of 419 pairs of jeans to be donated to the Rhinelander Frederick Place as well as the Family Resource Connection.

“We couldn’t have done it without the help and support of the Rhinelander community over the past three weeks,” said student Faith Bartelt. “And we can’t tell you how much it means to the people and organizations receiving this incredible donation. Thank you again to everybody who donated and we can’t wait to continue working with the community on drives and fundraisers like this in the future!”

The Jeans for Teens drive is one of the club’s annual community service projects.
