Linnette Betty Musson, age 87 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, January 3, 2016, at Country Terrace.  She was born November 30, 1928, in Rhinelander to John and Selma (Soderman) Anderson. Linnette was born and raised in Rhinelander, graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1946.  She married Bernard “Bun” Musson on November 5, 1949. Prior to her marriage, she was employed by the Rhinelander Daily News and later was employed at the local Sears store during the holidays.  Linnette enjoyed travel but her true love and focus was her family and her role as a mother and grandmother.

Linnette is survived by two daughters, Sue (John) Kerr and Michelle (Mark) Cornelius both of Rhinelander; two sons, Tim Musson of Rhinelander and Dan (Jenny) Musson of Arbor Vitae; her grandchildren, Melanie, Nicole, Tim, Christopher, Tammy, Brenda, Justine, Alyssa, Grace, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Austin, Dominick, Dessa, Chloe, Joseph, Jake, and Bradley; two sisters, Lorraine Wolf of San Diego, CA and Janice Voight of Rhinelander; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard “Bun” Musson in 1982; a granddaughter, Andrea and four sisters, Violet, Dorothy, Margaret, and Sandy.

The funeral service for Linnette will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6 at the Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) with Deacon Michael Harvey officiating.  Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery. Condolences for family may be directed atwww.carlsonfh.com.
