John married Dorothy Meyers June 23, 1951  and she preceded him in death on June 17, 1995. John always kept busy, especially outdoors if he could. He loved to hunt, fish and take care of his garden. He also liked to watch baseball and his favorite team, the Yankees. John is survived by his brother Gary Cline of Rhinelander, his nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Funeral services for John will be held  Friday, January 8,  at 2 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating.
