Obituary: Cindy L. Bauknecht
Cindy “Lou Lou” L. Bauknecht, age 56 of Three Lakes, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 8, 1959 in Rhinelander to Delmer H. and Evelyn F. (Hupf) Lunde Sr. She attended school in Rhinelander. On November 26, 1977, at First Congregational Church in Rhinelander, Cindy was united in marriage to Ricky A. Bauknecht. She received her CNA from Nicolet College. The family lived in Rhinelander for eight years before moving to Three Lakes. She was employed at Eagle River Nursing Home, Lakes Precision for two years, and had been a In Home Health Care Provider for her nephew, James “Jimmer” Lunde for ten years. Cindy enjoyed writing Poetry, singing, music, playing video games especially crossword puzzles, crocheting, gardening, fishing, Halloween Parties, NASCAR where she was a big #24 Jeff Gordon fan. But most of all, Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her pleasant personality, being the cool mom and aunt, and for her beautiful blue sparkling eyes. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband; Rick, children; Crystal (Todd) Anderson of Rhinelander, and Chance Bauknecht of Three Lakes, three grandchildren; Braysin Bauknecht, Nevaeh and Coltyn Anderson, three brothers and three sisters; Skip (Charlotte) Lunde of Rhinelander, Cookie (Wayne) Swenson of Rhinelander, Eileen McFee of Rhinelander, Ginger (Wayne) Fairfield of Rhinelander, Randy (Kathy) Lunde of Mesa, AZ, and Ricky (Michelle) Lunde of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; Darl Lunde, one brother-in-law; Tom McFee Sr., and by four nephews; Jimmer Lunde, Barry Fredrick, Travis Lunde and James Bauknecht. The visitation for Cindy will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home, from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating.
