Nicolet National Bank employees give back to community

Nicolet National Bank awarded local non-profits on behalf of its employee-funded foundation, known as the Nicolet National Foundation. The Foundation is funded by proceeds from employees across the entire Nicolet Bank corporation.
The Rhinelander area non-profits were chosen based on service to their community and uniqueness of the services they provide.
Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and nominations for recipients are made by employees of the bank. The Foundation’s board of directors reviews each nomination and makes awards based on the availability of funds.
This quarter’s recipients in the Rhinelander area were the Headwaters Foundation, Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, Tri-County Council on Domestic Abuse, and the Rhinelander Lions Club Christmas Not Alone Dinner.

The third recipient of a Nicolet National Bank donation was the Tri-County Council on Domestic Violence. Receiving the check on behalf of the Council is Shellie Holmes, executive director.
