Rhinelander Lions are collecting deer hides & tails to earn funds that will be used to provide camping schorlarships at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rothschild, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Lions Camp provides free camping for
young people who are afflicted with sight, hearing, diabetes, and other handicaps.

You can contact the Rhinelander Lions club email, [email protected], for camp or camper scholarship information.

The donated hides can be placed in barrels located near the Hodag Gun and Loan shop, located at 2261 Lincoln Street, Rhinelander. This location is on the northwest corner of the Lincoln Street and Highway 17 bypass. The Lions
would appreciate donations of salt, that will be used to preserve the hides until they are disposed of.

Rhinelander Lions Club Members, Bill Haenel (715)282-7582, Dick Garrow (715)490-1988, George Scholz (715)272-1770, and Tom O’Rourke (715)362-6534 can provide information.
