Lend a hand, wear a hat

Student fundraiser at James Williams Middle School

The staff at JWMS will be allowing hats in school on Friday, in the spirit of giving toward the Towne family for medical expenses. A student at JWMS, whose name was not released be the school district, is currently waiting for a liver transplant. In support of the family, students have the chance to donate, and in return for their donations, the rare opportunity to wear a hat in school.

Students who donate $1 or more will be given a sticker, which they must wear on their hats the entire day if the wish to continue wearing it. Only hats with stickers on them will be allowed.
