Oneida County UW-Extension welcomes Myles Alexander as the new Community, Natural Resources, and Economic Development (CNRED) agent. His official first day in the office will be Nov. 2.

This agent position, previously held by Tim Brown, is a tenure-track appointment within the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Department of Community Resource Development. It focuses on being an educational leader in teaching, accessing, and applying research findings in the fields of leadership, organizational development, community development, local government education, business and economic development and natural resources in order to meet identified educational needs and interests of Oneida County residents.

During the first few months, Myles will be learning about the goals and missions of various local organizations, getting to know community leaders, continuing with projects started by his predecessor, and focusing on issues listed by recent visioning session efforts. To schedule a visit with Myles, call the UW-Extension office at 715-365-2750.
