Obituary: LaVerne H. Honrath

LaVerne H. Honrath, age 91 formerly of the Town of Pelican, died October 27, 2015 at Grace Lodge in Rhinelander. She was born January 19, 1924 in Milwaukee to William and Helen (Boris) Scharhag. LaVerne is survived by her husband, Jack; four children, Jacqueline (Richard) Owens of Sanford, FL, William Honrath of Little Suamico, Patrick Honrath of Sparta  and Anne (Daniel) Helgeson of Rhinelander; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Long of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Visitation for LaVerne will be Friday, October 30 at the Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial taking place at 11 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (St. Mary site) with Fr. Mike McLain officiating. Memorial contributions in honor of LaVerne may be given to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. (Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists)
