Former WNBA stand out holds court in Rhinelander

A former small town, Northern Wisconsin athlete whose talents took her all the way to the WNBA was in Rhinelander recently, leading her Girls Basketball Skills Clinic.
Anna DeForge is a Niagara High School grad (3rd all time leading scorer in Wisconsin history), two-time All-American at the University of Nebraska (and one of five players named to the University of Nebraska All Century Team) and two-time WNBA All Star. She took to the court at Rhinelander High School September 26 to give players an idea of what it takes to make it big.
The clinic was sponsored by the Rhinelander Basketball Association.
