‘Shred event’ Saturday morning
The Rhinelander Food Pantry will benefit from Ripco Credit Union’s annual free shred event Saturday September 12, from 9 a.m. to noon.
While personal documents will be accepted for shredding at no cost, Ripco will accept donations, (non-perishable food and/or monetary gifts), on behalf of the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
Community members will have an opportunity to support the mission of the Food Pantry while reducing their chance of personal Identity theft. Community residents are encouraged to gather their personal documents (ie: financial statements, credit card statements, payroll stubs, etc.) and bring them to the Credit Union September 12 along with their personal donations for the Food Pantry. The food donated, or purchased with monetary donations, will then be distributed to area families in need.
