Tennis shuts out Antigo; soccer scrimmages West

Hodag girls tennis is picking up where they left off, so far undefeated in the young season. Varsity players shut out Antigo, 7-0; JV went 4-4.

No. 1 — Ivy Packard, RHINELANDER, def. Allison Kondzela, 6-4, 6-1; No. 2 — Kristina Jacobson, RHINELANDER, def. Emily Wald, 6-3, 6-4; No. 3 — Belinda Weddle, RHINELANDER, def. Areonna Schreiber, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3; No. 4 — Katie Krueger, RHINELANDER, def. Izzy Matuszewski, 6-2, 6-2;

Doubles
No. 1 — Maddie Barnes-Eva O’Melia, RHINELANDER, def. Abi Warren-Mandy Petts, 6-4, 6-0; No. 2 — Brianna DeNamur-Kianna Meyer, RHINELANDER, def. Allivia Zoern-Molly Brown, 6-1, 6-0; No. 3 — Erica Counter-Ali Schickert, RHINELANDER, def. Abby Robrecht-Taylor Arrowrood, 7-5, 5-7, 6-2.

Boys Soccer took to the field for the first time, scrimmaging Wausau West at home.
