Event runs September 4, 5, 6

The third annual Trig’s PotatoFest announces the new “Spuds” (activities) happening on Labor Day Weekend. Starting with Friday, September 4, in addition to the Rhinelander Café & Pub fish fry, refreshments and live music, there will be a “PotatoFest Scavenger Hunt” from 5:30 – 7 p.m. starting at the main tent.

A bean bag toss tournament has been added to the Saturday, September 5 schedule, from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Potato Pantyhose Bowling starts at 4 p.m. Everything happens at the greenspace in front of Trigs’s (Courtney Street).

The favorites, like the Masonic Lodge Potato Pancake Breakfast, potato eating contests, a cribbage tournament, kids activities including the Littlest Spud Race and the Tator Tot Parade, live music and the Duck Regatta are also on the docket for Saturday.

WXPR is hosting a Potato PolkaFest Sunday morning, featuring Jim Pekol.

Trig’s PotatoFest was voted Rhinelander’s #1 Event. It’s hosted by Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. and Tri-County Council-Lily’s House.
