Downtown Rhinelander announces PotatoFest event lineup
Three days of events will fill Labor Day weekend downtown Rhinelander, September 4-6. New this year is the Sunday PolkaFest. For more details can be found at downtownrhinelander.com.

Fish Fry by the Rhinelander Café & Pub
Live Music by Jagged Highway and The Whitehouse Players.
Saturday, September 5
8 a.m. Masonic Lodge potato pancake breakfast; Farmers Market
8:45-10 a.m. Littlest spud race, tator tot parade
9 a.m. Food/craft/merchandise vendors
10 a.m. YMCA Couch Potato Race
10:30 a.m. Bean bag toss tournament
11 a.m. Live music by Rhinelander Community Band; kids activities, kids potato sack race
11:45 a.m. – Sowinski Farms Potato Mountain golden potato
12 p.m. Live music by Scott Kirby & Friends, cribbage tournament, feed the Hodag spud sling
1-2 p.m. Adult potato sack races, mashed potato eating and French fry eating contests
2:15 p.m. Guns N Hoses (Rhinelander Police vs. Rhinelander Firefighters Tug O’ War)
3 p.m. Duck regatta
4 -7:30 p.m. Live music, potato pantyhose bowling, duck regatta prizes, adult feed the Hodag spud sling
8 -11p.m. Live music by The Dweebs
Sunday, September 6
Noon – 3 p.m. – WXPR Potato PolkaFest featuring the Jim Pekol Band
