Tiffany to attend County Board meeting

By Star Journal staff
Next week at the Aug. 18 County Board meeting, Senator Tom Tiffany will be making an appearance. He is scheduled to attend after doing the same in counties around the area, talking about and receiving questions about the recent changes to shoreland zoning that he helped introduce. The new zoning policy passed despite a resolution put forward my UW-Extension and signed by the Oneida County Board asking the Governor to remove the policy from his budget.
As the Oneida County Lakes & Rivers Association recently quoted “This is your chance to hear his vision for our District, first hand.” (According to a press release from the Oneida County Land & Water Conservation Department)
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, and time has been set aside for public comment, so now is a rare chance to hear from and speak to Senator Tiffany in person.
