Getting that “sinking” feeling, America? The feeling that America’s Ship of State is listing very badly to the far left and the “captain” of the ship is deliberately steering us toward the rocks off shore? America is no longer creeping toward socialism, but is in a full-blown charge toward it. The “transformation” Obama talked about is happening on a daily basis, with America being almost unrecognizable. Think about it – the exact opposite of what the founding fathers and framers of our Constitution had in mind. Now we have Obama, telling us that was wrong, and that we must pay for our “past sins.” I always question why, if this nation is so terrible, as Obama makes it out to be, so many people still want to come here. The answer is, because it is better than any other place that comes in second. But America’s identity is being lost, scrapped by a socialist president, degraded and demoralized, morphed into a nation of permissiveness and political correctness.
Where is the Republican response to that? What happened to all the bold talk from Boehner and McConnell and others, about how things would change when the Republicans took over the Senate and the House? They have had that majority for some time now, and you barely hear a whimper from them. Have they given up, thrown the towel and accepted this new world America? If conservatives had to choose a candidate today, who would that be? Who will be able to bring about the changes needed in America to get us back on the right track? It seems no matter what Hillary Clinton does, she will be the nominee for the Democrats. No matter how dishonest, no matter how many lies and cover ups. Is that what Americans want for a president? Haven’t we had enough of that with Obama?
The candidates fall over one another to criticize Donald Trump. But the fact is, he is resonating with many people because he speaks his mind, does not pander to the voters, and needs no fundraisers. Does anyone really expect this guy to get the Republican nomination? Not likely, but in the meantime, he adds some spark to an otherwise boring bunch of candidates. People who are fed up with the liberalizing of this country are angry, and Donald Trump knows that. Polls come and go; what we do not want is another McCain or Romney.
Hillary Clinton is not the inevitable heir to the throne. But the Republicans better get their act together and do more than just collect a pay check.

Has anyone ever looked at the back of a tube of toothpaste? It says if you ingest a small amount, what would be more than used for brushing, then call the poison center. Fluoride is the poison. So if fluoride is the poison….then would someone please explain why it is ok, or should I say legal, for it to be in our drinking water? Is the city trying to poison the residents purposely? I don’t get it. Would someone please explain this?
