The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of Cameron J. Lane age 20 of Merrill.

Lane is 6’0 tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has red hair and blue eyes.

He was staying at an address on State Rd 107, but is known to stay with friends; mostly in the Merrill and Wausau area.

He is driving a 1997 Chevy Caviler two door, black in color that has red colored windshield wiper guards (similar to the one pictured). The plate on the vehicle is 247-XNB.

Deputies are seeking Cameron Lane as he is a person of interest in a property crime involving thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen goods. They are also concerned about Lane’s welfare due to recent statements he has made.

Deputies consider anyone wanted for a serious crime a threat and ask that you not approach Lane if you see him.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Cameron J. Lane you are asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 715-536-6272 or your local law enforcement agency. Callers may also call Crime Stoppers. Calls to Crime Stoppers can lead to a cash reward. 715-536-3726.

NOTE: The attached vehicle is just a similar model/year/color – it is not the exact car he is known to operate.
