Hundreds of Northwoods junior high students walked through the career fair last week. The event was sponsored by Nicolet College and held at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.

About 600 seventh grade students from throughout the Northwoods explored a wide variety of career options at the recent Career Expo 2015 sponsored by Nicolet College.

“The fist step in selecting a career is knowing about the many different possibilities available,” said Erika Warning, Nicolet College career coach. “The Career Expo gave students the chance to explore different careers and talk directly with professionals in the different fields.”

Twenty-five different businesses and organizations had information booths with hands-on activities available to give students an up-close look at various career options. The event was held at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.
