Obituary: Ralph Cox
Ralph Cox, 85, of Rhinelander died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston. He was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Rhinelander to Ira and Anna (Lassig) Cox. He is survived by his wife, Marge Cox; four children, Linda (Terry Siefert) Cox of Berryville, Va., David Cox of Milwaukee, Patti (Peter Gilman) Cox of Egg Harbor and Paul Cox of Milwaukee; a sister, Anna Mae Ytzen of Cresten, Iowa; two brothers, Jim Cox and David (Wilma) Cox, both of Rhinelander; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn, and a brother, Glen. Mr. Cox served in the Navy for four years and was later recalled to active duty during the Korean War. He worked at the Rhinelander Paper Mill from 1962 until retiring in 1992. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 24, at 11:30 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home. (Carlson Funeral Home)
