Obituary: Connie Rollman

Connie Rollman, 94, of Rhinelander died Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born May 12, 1920, to Cornelius and Mary (DeBels) Voermans in Tomahawk. She is survived by sons Richard (Phyllis) Rollman and James Rollman, both of Rhinelander; a sister, Leona (Werner) Zimmer of Rhinelander; and a grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol; brothers Peter and Donald Voermans; and sisters Madeline Schroeder and Marie Pophal. Mrs. Rollman mentored many young people during 20 years as a 4-H leader. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 24, at noon at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church-St. Mary’s site, with Rev. Inna Reddy officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hidebrand Russ Funeral Home and Friday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be at Harrison Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church Women’s Group. (Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home)
