17-year old murder suspect headed back to Oneida County

Double homicide suspect Ashlee Martinson will be returned to Oneida County. She appeared in Boone County, Indiana court April 9 and waived extradition.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office now has 30 days to make arrangements to transport Martinson back to Oneida County. According to Oneida County Captain Terri Hook, the date and method of her transport will not be released to the public, to ensure Martinson’s safety and the safety of those transporting her.
The 17-year old Martinson will appear in Court upon her return to Oneida County.
Law enforcement believe Martinson killed her mother and step-father in their Oneida County home sometime Saturday, March 7. She was apprehended in Boone County, Indiana Sunday, March 8, along with her boyfriend, who is not a suspect in the case. Martinson initially did not waive extradition, which is the reason she has been incarcerated in Indiana for more than a month.
