Tri-County Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will be accepting donations for the children of the homicide victims in Rhinelander. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department has received authorization from the Oneida County Department of Social Services to work in conjunction with Tri-County Council to receive donations. The agency is accepting monetary donations and toys and books. Checks should be written to Tri-County Council and they will be specifically earmarked for the three surviving children. Toys and books should be age appropriate for 2-10 year old girls. At this time, we are unable to accept clothing donations or anything of a more personal nature, due to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the minor children involved.

Monetary donations should be mailed to:
Tri-County Council, P.O. Box 233, Rhinelander, WI 54501
Donations of toys and books may be dropped off at the Administrative Offices of Tri-County Council in Rhinelander at:
3716 Country Drive, Suite #1, Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm, located just past the intersection of Hwy. 47 & K in the old Marshfield Clinic building.

Tri-County Council is holding a candlelight vigil tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. at the Oneida County Courthouse to give the community an opportunity to come together in sharing their grief and trying to make sense of this tragedy, and to honor the victims of domestic violence homicides. Advocates will be available on-site for anyone who feels that they need individual support or resources. All are welcome. Donations will be accepted at the vigil tonight as well.
