YMCA Teen Character Awards

The YMCA of the Northwoods will hold its 10th annual Teen Character Awards event Monday March, 9. The YMCA is looking for teens who have demonstrated the organization’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, and who have made a positive impact on someone’s life.

These awards are an important way to recognize teens who are not always at the top of their class or the best athlete. Teens who win an award are able to list that award on college and employment applications.

Any adult may nominate teens who have demonstrated the Y’s core values by filling out the nomination form and turning it in to the YMCA of the Northwoods on or before Feb. 9.

Nomination forms may be picked up at the YMCA. All nominees will be notified whether they will or will not be receiving an award.
