That’s right, bubbles.

For the past decade Akins has traveled the country and world entertaining youngsters and adults alike with his exceptional talent of turning simple soap and water into seemingly impossible and mesmerizing bubble creations.

He’ll bring his gifted skills and uplifting presentation to the Nicolet College Theatre for a special performance at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 26.

“What he can do with bubbles is nothing short of amazing,” said Jim Nuttall, Nicolet College Theatre director. “What’s great about Geoffrey is that he’s also a very talented speaker. He knows how to encourage people to reach for their dreams. His bubble tricks may seem impossible, but his main message to the audience is that anything is possible.”

Akins has performed as many as 300 shows per year in theaters, schools, libraries, and orphanages. His client list features numerous large corporations and includes the likes of Google, Toyota, IBM, National Geographic Channel, Macy’s, and Allstate Insurance.

Internationally, he’s performed in China, Vietnam, Singapore, Bali, Mexico, Israel, Thailand, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Cambodia.

During each performance audiences experience the art and science of bubbles as caterpillars, ice cream cones, snowmen, volcanoes, dancing bubbles, and other creations magically appear.

Tickets are $5 and can be ordered online at nicoletlive.com or by calling 715-365-4646; TDD 711 or 1-800-947-3529.
