Obituary: Milton Edward Peterson
Milton Edward Peterson, 90, of Rhinelander, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at his home. He was born in June 17, 1924, in Rhinelander to Edward and Irene (Bourcier) Peterson. Milt served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Milt is survived by his wife, Mariam Peterson of Rhinelander; two daughters, Cheryl (Chris) Haebich of Wausau and Michelle (Jim) Mazalewski of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; his sister, Sylvia Dario of Appleton. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine. Funeral services for Milt will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Schoell officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Carlson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Northland Memorial Park.
