Obituary: Glen Cox

Glen Cox, 86, of Rhinelander, died Dec. 15, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. He was born July 31, 1928 in Rhinelander, to Ira and Anna (Lassig) Cox. Mr. Cox served in the Marine Corp. He is survived by his son, Donald (Barbara) Cox; brothers, David (Wilma) Cox, James (Judy) Cox, Ralph (Marge) Cox all of Rhinelander; sister Anna Mae (Bob) Ytzen of Cresten, Iowa; and two grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne; his parents; a sister, Marilyn Roberts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Jan. 10 at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, St. Mary’s site with Father James Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until just prior to the services on Jan.10, at the Church. Interment will be in the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery. (Carlson Funeral Home)
