Nicolet College is offering students the chance to earn three college Fundamentals of Speech credits this January.
“This is a great way for both students from other colleges home for winter break and Nicolet students to get a jump on their next semester,” said Stuckenbruck.
“So many students are required to take the ‘dreaded’ speech class at some point during College,” said Emily Stuckenbruck, dean of University Transfer Liberal Arts at Nicolet.  “Many students find it uncomfortable to speak in front of a roomful of other students, but it’s an important lifelong skill.”
The January class features a workshop-style, accelerated format, and will meet January 2 to 23, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The class easily transfers to other colleges and universities.
Registration is also currently open for new and continuing students to enroll for Spring Semester.  Classes start Monday, January 26.
For more information or to register, visit www.nicoletcollege.edu or call the Nicolet College Welcome Center at 715.365.4493, 1.800.544.3039, ext. 4493, or TDD 711.
