The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting business owners and managers to a free seminar at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Chamber offices that will focus on reducing the regulatory burdens of doing business in Wisconsin. Nancy Mistele, the Director of Wisconsin’s Office of Business Development, will present on what her office can do to help businesses cut through government red tape as well as take feedback from attendees on what regulations they feel are an unnecessary burden.

As the “concierge service for business,” the Office of Business Development helps businesses cut through government red tape to solve problems, works with them to identify laws and rules that need to be reformed (or removed) and links them to various business services available in the state.
Nancy Mistele, Director of the Office of Business Development, has seen both sides of government rules and regulations. She has more than 30 years as a private sector entrepreneur and 15 months within a regulatory agency for the State of Wisconsin. A self-proclaimed “life entrepreneur,” Nancy is married to an entrepreneur and two of her three adult children are also small business owners.
Those who wish to attend this free session must RSVP no later than December 1, 2014 to the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce at 715-365-7464 or by emailing [email protected]com. Attendees are welcome to bring a guest.
