Viewpoint: Cell phones are convenient but unhealthy
Editor:
Rhinelander is lucky to have Dr. Ida Allen-Bergman to explain “The Reality of Cell Phone Radiation” (Fit & Fab, October 24). People have the right to know about the serious impacts from radiofrequency/microwave (RF/MW) radiation devices to be able to protect their families.
My family has a cabin in the area and it is shocking to see how much electrosmog has grown here from cell towers/devices and smart meters. Even the prettiest lakes and trails now have ceaseless pulses of this manmade radiation at bio-active levels, according to my Cornet RF meter.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has no biologically meaningful safety limits for RF/MW radiation. Their very high RF/MW radiation limits only protect against cooking as tested six minutes on a head model of a very large male. Children, elderly and ill people are not accounted for in such a test. Neither is biological damage from non-thermal RF/MW, as revealed repeatedly in independent science.
People deserve the truth about wireless radiation impacts, so here are some sources to add to Dr. Allen-Bergman’s information:
MD Symposium videos at C4ST warn about irreversible damage to children’s development, DNA and reproduction health. http://www.c4st.org/MDSymposium
Cellular Telephone, Russian Roulette: a Historical and Scientific Perspective, by Motorola cellphone engineer Robert C. Kane, explains exactly how cellphones damage the brain. http://microondes.wordpress.com/2010/04/17/robert-c-kane-cellular-telephone-russian-roulette/
Wisconsin “smart meter” health complaints in WI Public Service Commission records show ongoing distress. Even customers with doctor letters are denied the accommodation of replacing RF/MW meters with safe analog meters. Only statewide legislation will end this utility monopoly assault on individual property and health choice rights. http://stopsmartmeterswisconsin.wordpress.com/2014/10/08/smart-meter-health-complaints-to-public-service-commission-of-wi-2009-2014/
Wireless is fun and convenient, but the price to our loved ones’ health may be very high. The only safe, sure way to lessen wireless biological harm is to minimize all exposures. Thankfully, wired access to information and communication is available. See Solutions at electricalpollution.com for more ideas.
