Adopt a costume
The RHS/NCSS Drama Department is looking for some help from the community. The production of ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’ requires some out of the ordinary costumes which must be rented.
“We usually create our own costumes for our productions, many of them being homemade,” said director Kristin Larsen, “But there are many characters in Beauty and the Beast that need costumes that are very difficult for us to build. Luckily, we can rent these. Many parents of the students in the play are helping out with paying for their child’s outfit, but we could still use more support from the public’.
An ‘Adopt a Costume’ fund has been established. Larsen said that any contribution would be appreciated. The names of contributors to the ‘Adopt a Costume’ fundraiser will also be included on the program, unless donors want to remain anonymous.
More information about the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Adopt a Costume fundraiser is at http://www.rhinelander.k12.wi.us/faculty/LarseKri/drama.cfm, or contact Ms Larsen at 715-365-9500 ext 8113.
Performances of ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’ are Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20 through 22 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. at the Rhinelander High School Auditorium. General admission tickets are five dollars at the door.
