Obituary: William C. Prahl

William C. Prahl, 87, of Rhinelander died Oct. 29, 2014 in Kronenwetter. William was born June 16, 1927 in Mattoon to Walter and Mary (Calloway) Prahl. He is survived by his children Cary (Michael) Neveaux of Menasha, Jean (Douglas) Jensen of Tomahawk, Peggy (Greg) Lund of Kronenwetter, Michael (Jane) Prahl and Thomas (Julie) Prahl of Rhinelander, Mary Jo (Greg) Sowinski and Theresa (John) Stoehr of Sugar Camp; sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law; Nancy Funk of Two Rivers. He was preceded in death by his wife Alyce on April 2, 2008 and by a brother-in-law; Robert Funk. 
Visitation for Bill will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, (St. Mary’s Site). The Rev. Tom Thakadipuram will be officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery. (Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home)
