Obituary: Bill Julian

Bill Julian, 87, Town of Newbold, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, in Rhinelander. He was born March 12, 1927, in Spurgeon, Ind. to Jake and Ruth (Faries) Julian. Bill is survived by his wife, Loretta Julian of Rhinelander; a grandson; a great-grandson; a sister, Peg (Joe) Jenkins of Princeton, Ind.; three brothers, Jack Julian of Evansville, Ind., Bob Julian of Spurgeon, Ind,, and James (Eddi) Julian of Modesto, Cal.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eva and Maxine; and two brothers, Byron and Kenneth. Mr. Julian served in the Army where he received a Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam.

A memorial service for Bill will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebecca Niese officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 at the Carlson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the church.
