Phillip Street closed for two weeks

The City of Rhinelander will be re-constructing a portion of Phillip Street from Maple Street to the bridge. Work on this area consists of street elevation change, railroad crossing repair, and new pavement. The work needed will best be completed if the road section is closed to traffic.
Weather permitting, the city plans to have the project complete in two weeks. During this time, we ask that commuters plan accordingly for the adjustment to their daily routine. Alternate routes during this closure will require the use of the Davenport and Kemp Street bridge crossings.
For more information, please contact Tony Gilman at the City of Rhinelander Department of Public Works at 715-362-2728.
