Auto accident blocks U.S. 51 in Oneida County
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reports that, due to an auto accident, northbound and southbound lanes on Hwy. 51 in southern Oneida County are currently blocked.
Those traveling northbound on U.S. 51 from Tomahawk are advised to take U.S. 51 to U.S. 8, travel west to Cty. L and then north back to U.S. 51. These directions apply in reverse for southbound drivers.
At 2 p.m. today, the DOT reported the lanes were still closed. The Wisconsin State Patrol is handling the incident.
