Kristen Gobert of Rhinelander has received the Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship for the 2014-15 school year.
Gobert transferred to UW-Stout from Nicolet Area Technical College in Rhinelander and will receive $1,500. She will major in management.
The university offers the scholarship for students who transfer directly from two-year colleges and are members of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. In addition, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, have been accepted to UW-Stout and have submitted an essay by June 16.
For more information on scholarship opportunities for transfer students at UW-Stout, visit uwstout.edu/admissions/transfer_scholarships.cfm.
For information about transferring to the university, contact Linda Young, transfer coordinator, at 715-232-1787 or [email protected]
