Rhinelander GM recently donated $1,000 to the Rhinelander Fire Department as part of Chevy’s Help a Hero test drive event.

For every test-drive that was completed, Rhinelander Fire Department received a $20 donation from Rhinelander Auto Center. Each person who completed a test-drive also receive a free Chevy Help A Hero T-shirt and was entered to win a family fire safety and prevention gift basket.

“Our local members of the Fire department give so much,” said Tarsie Goes, Rhinelander GM Marketing Coordinator. “Not only do they have the important task of protecting our friends and family, but they also give a great deal to our community. We at Rhinelander Auto Center feel that it is very important to recognize those contributions and honor their leadership and integrity. Celebrating over ten years at our dealership we believe the value of being good community citizens: We give willingly to and are actively involved in the support of our communities, because they provide us our success.”

The money will go toward the purchase of a BullEx Intelligent Training System that teaches proper use of fire extinguishers as part of the departments community education program.
