Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center welcomes new dietitians/diabetes educators
Jaimee Gregor, a diabetes educator/dietitian, and Denise Stelmacher, a registered nurse/diabetes educator, recently joined Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center.
Diabetes educators/dietitians provide patients with American Diabetes Association self-management training and individualized nutrition education to help them reach their health goals.
Gregor has degrees in nutrition and exercise. Her areas of interest are diabetes, heart disease and weight loss.
“My goal is to give patients the tools to live a healthier life,” Gregor said.
She is a native of northern Wisconsin. Gregor was raised in Mellen, and Ironwood, Mich.
Stelmacher, joined the Clinic’s Minocqua Center in April, however, she has been part of the clinic system since 2000, providing care in the Wausau area. She is a registered nurse with many years of experience in endocrinology. In 2005, she also became a certified diabetes educator.
“During the years I worked in endocrinology, I was involved in diabetes education, helping with diabetes group classes and providing insulin pump training for patients. I have also done extensive diabetes medication management for endocrinology patients over the years,” she said.
