The May distribution for Ruby’s Pantry will be held May 20 at Grace Foursquare Church’s Family Life Center at 4360 Hwy 17 in Rhinelander.
Registration begins at 4 p.m. and distribution begins at 5 p.m. Remember the option to come later than 5 p.m. is recommended as wait time tends to be lengthy before 4 p.m.

In addition, parking logistics has been worked out and Ruby’s Panty coordinators ask those attending to follow the signs and parking attendant’s instructions upon arrival.

Ruby’s Pantry is a once-a-month food distribution. Ruby’s began in 2003 and is now doing 48 food distributions per month serving as many as 14,000 families and handling more than 1.5 million pounds of food each month. See the whole story at www.RubysPantry.org. All food is donated to the program by various corporations within the state and around the country. Anyone can patronize this pantry as Ruby’s Pantry is not based on income.

Families and individuals have an opportunity to stretch their monthly food budget. Each patron is asked to bring two laundry baskets (to carry the food) and contribute a $20 donation. This donation is given to cover transportation and operating expenses.

Volunteers are also need. To volunteer, call Lynne Friese at 715-282-6517.

For more information, call the Rev. Bob Messerli at 715-362-5431.
