Obituary: Joyce Hauser

Joyce Hauser, 80, of Rhinelander, passed away May 1, 2014, at Ministry St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 18, 1933, in Saskatchewan, Canada, the youngest of seven children born to Dwight John and Emily Jane (Smith) Badgley. She is survived by her children, Pat Hauser (Marianne) of Lake Mills, Cheryl Lemke (Robert) of Mequon, Fred Hauser (Wendy) of Menasha, Robert Hauser of Rhinelander, Jennifer Logan of Rhinelander, Laura Budreau (Tim Stenson) of Tigerton, Mary Hauser of Tomahawk; and grandson Shannon Hauser (Beth Meyer), whom she raised; sister, Wilma Reinke, of Rhinelander; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Fred (Bud); daughters, Donna Baxter and Jodi Hauser; four sisters and three brothers. A memorial service will be held for Joyce at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Matthew Schoell officiating. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service between 9:30 to 11 a.m. (Carlson Funeral Home)
