The 3rd Annual Soup For Shelter in the Woodruff-Minocqua Area will be held Saturday, April 26.

Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, will host this fund-raising event. Proceeds from this benefit will go to Frederick Place, the temporary, emergency shelter that is operated by the Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing, Inc. (NATH).

Doors will open at 5 p.m. to give diners time to make bids on numerous silent auction items or to purchase tickets for the bucket raffles. Everyone is welcome.

Admission is by free-will donation. Area restaurants will be donating a delicious variety of soups for this benefit.  Frederick Place offers emergency shelter for families and individuals from Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida and Vilas Counties. The shelter has been open three years and has provided shelter for more than 300 individuals.

For more information about Frederick Place, contact Tammy Modic, Executive Director, at 715-369-9777.
