James Beck Cancer Center to host open house
The James Beck Cancer Center (JBCC) in Rhinelander is hosting a community open house to introduce the public to its new TrueBeam Linear Accelerator Wednesday, March 12, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Members of the JBCC staff will be conducting tours, and providing information on cancer screening and prevention. The James Beck Cancer Center is located at 2251 North Shore Drive, on the Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital campus.
The TrueBeam Linear Accelerator delivers more powerful cancer treatments with pinpoint accuracy and precision, and opens the door to new possibilities for the treatment of lung, breast, prostate, head and neck, as well as other cancers that are treatable with radiotherapy.
The community open house is free and open to the public.
